This course is given as an intensive three-day workshop covering the practical DevSecOps outcomes by finding the right mix of people, building processes to accelerate value, and comparing the technological options available today. This workshop is intended for practitioners or managers looking to enhance workflows between the DEV and OPS teams. At the end of the course, participants will take a 90-minute exam containing a multiple-choice questionnaire to obtain the international DevOps Institute (DOI)/PeopleCert DevSecOps Practitioner certificate.

DevOps version: This course introduces the DevSecOps principles and is based on the DSOP v1.0 Exam Requirements.

Language

The course, course materials and exam are in English.

Course duration

3 days of learning, including the final exam (scheduled later by the candidate).

Prerequisite

DevSecOps Foundation certification.

Course objectives

In three days, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills required to:

  • Describe how people, process and technology can be combined to improve outcomes of mature DevSecOps guidance.
  • Explain how to create and secure DevOps pipelines.
  • Take the DOI/PeopleCert DevSecOps Practitioner exam with confidence by applying their newly acquired knowledge.
  • Put the DevSecOps principles to practical use in their own environments.

Target audience

This course is aimed at:

  • Personnel involved in enhancing the capabilities and the security of the service delivery activities and pipeline.
  • Practitioners and managers looking to improve workflows between development (DEV) and operations (OPS) teams.
  • Participants holding a DevSecOps Foundation certificate and with three to six months of prior IT experience.

Exam

The official DOI/PeopleCert DevSecOps Practitioner exam is included.

The participant will receive a voucher valid for 12 months to write the exam and will need to schedule the exam date. The certification exam is written electronically following the training and requires access to a connected computer with active audio and video.

Format: 40 multiple-choice questions
Duration: 90 minutes.

It is recommended to take this training with an accredited organization using accredited training material.
